First, let’s start with some definitions, like any classic high school essay.

knowledge: facts, information, and skills acquired through experience or education;

blessed: holy or consecrated

This shirt is a representation of the synthesis of the mundane and the ardent, the tripartite design representing the layers of existence embodied through the creation of the album by Jonny Virgo that shares its name.  Though the fabric, dyes and fastenings employed are everyday, the coming into existence of this garment is symbolic of the journey towards a higher self.

knowledge: facts, information, and skills acquired through experience or education;

The knowledge gained through experience is mundane, everyday even, up to the revelation of the most salacious secret. The ardent phase seeks to dedicate our existence together, chasing ephemeral fantasies of what should be, whether they are egalitarian, hedonistic or something yet undiscovered.  This is the middle, where the colours burn brightest and the luminescence of possibility guides our subconscious.

blessed: holy or consecrated

However, this garment also represents a pragmatism that seeks to bridge the mundane and the ethereal. This is phase three, the third stripe, where there is a synthesis of the mundane and the ardent, a state which I consider to be blessed, holy or consecrated. This is a state that I believe to be ordained by the powers that move our existence: physics, the gods the void.

So, it is with this in mind, that I say Knowledge Keeps You Blessed, More Love Power, Devil’s Brew for One and All.
